Tobias Zimling
– your candidate for the City Council
My name is Tobias Zimling, and I am a candidate for the Copenhagen City Council (Borgerrepræsentationen) representing the SF. I live in Ørestad, where I enjoy the area’s combination of nature, cultural offerings, and urban life. I work as a teacher in Gentofte, where I teach Danish and history, and I have a strong background in education and leadership. I am a trained teacher from Holbæk Teacher’s College and University College Copenhagen, and I hold a Master’s degree in Learning Processes from Aalborg University.
My political vision is to create a more just and sustainable city. I am passionate about improving public schools, strengthening public transport, and ensuring better conditions for volunteer associations, which play an important role for both children and adults. As chairman of Ørestad IF, a sports association with more than 2,500 members, and Ørestad Swimming Club, I have practical experience in promoting community and civic life.
I have been politically engaged since the age of 15 and have been a member of SF for more than 10 years. My focus areas are education, climate action, and access to sports facilities. I work to make Copenhagen a city for everyone – regardless of age, background, or economic situation.
I am running for City Council to ensure that all children and young people in Copenhagen receive a good education with high academic standards and strong well-being. At the same time, I want to improve opportunities for sports and leisure in Copenhagen so that all residents have access to healthy communities. My approach to politics is based on decency, integrity, and respect.
Vote for me, Tobias Zimling, if you want a candidate who fights for strong schools, better transport, active communities, and an ambitious climate policy in Copenhagen.

Tobias Zimling is working for a safer Copenhagen – where children thrive and leisure is part of everyday life.
